- Our Use of Submitted Content: You give QuoteMyAuto.com unconditional permission to publish anything you submit to the Quote My Auto Insurance Directory regardless of the method of submission, which may include, but is not limited to submission forms, questionnaires, email, or any other method and you further acknowledge that any submission may be distributed to our members and subscribers via the Quote My Auto Insurance Directory ezine, RSS feed, and email alerts.
- External Use of Submitted Content: You acknowledge that the enforcement of our terms of service for publishers is at your risk and cost and not ours. In other words, if someone violates your copyright -- it will be 100% up to you to take legal action against those who abuse your copyright to protect your interests. If you do not agree to these terms, do not submit ANYTHING to QuoteMyAuto.com.
- Determination of Eligibility to be Published: It is the QuoteMyAuto.com Team's sole decision as to whether your submission will be published and for how long. - Category Assignment: The QuoteMyAuto.com Editorial Team reserves the right to re-classify your submission to a category that may be more suitable than originally submitted.
- Purpose and Compensation: You acknowledge that we do NOT pay for submissions to our insurance directory. The primary reason for submitting your article to our directory is for the chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the topic written about, and to be selected by potential clients or to be selected for one of the QuoteMyAuto.com consumer value-added programs, like our ezine or email notifications & updates to Quote My Auto Insurance Directory subscribers. - Advertising: The Quote My Auto Insurance Directory is advertiser supported. We reserve the right to publish ads on the same pages as your link(s) or article(s).
- Violation of Submission or Editorial Guidelines: If your submission does not conform to the Quote My Auto Insurance Directory submission or editorial guidelines, our editors may choose to decline the submission. However, if you make the edits necessary, please feel free to re-submit the modified contribution. Please read our editorial guidelines before submitting anything. This will save time and speed the approval process.
- Domain Link/Deep Link Forwarding/Redirects to Affiliate Links: You declare that you will not send in any submissions with direct affiliate links in them. We reject submissions/contributions with direct affiliate links. It is ok, however, to forward/redirect to an affiliate link from the top-level of a domain name you own. It is NOT acceptable to forward/redirect to an affiliate link from a deep link on your site which you reference in your contribution to Quote My Auto Insurance Directory. If you choose to deep link, the page must exist with some sort of valid and unique content having to do with the submission. However, you may provide a link from the deep linked page to an affiliate program or site – Our quality standards require only that you do not forward or redirect from the deep link.
- Mirror Sites: You agree not to link to a site that is a literal copy of another website existing under another domain, unless it contains either unique copy or unique contact information. This also includes domain forwards and redirects.
We will reject your link or article if:
- Illegal Content: Warez, Drug Periphenilia, child pornography, sexual abuse, or any other acts of an illegal nature.
- Expired Domains: The website is an expired domain or placeholder for an expired domain.
- Incorrect Category: The website is submitted to what we deem to be an incorrect category. We want to help your website grow and the best way to do that is for you to find the correct category for placement. Due to development duties and other items which consume our time on a daily basis, we will not be able to guarantee that we can find the correct category for your site if you do not, therefore, it may be rejected if submitted to an incorrect category.
- Pornographic Images: Any submission of such will result in immediate IP banning. There should be no reason for this type of submission on an Insurance resource site.
- Under Construction: We do not accept sites that are under construction, please wait until your site is of presentable nature before submitting to our directory.
- Non-English: All Articles must be written in English. All link descriptions and titles must be written in English although the website itself is not.
We do accept the following that some directories may not:
- Deep Links: We allow deep links however we ask that you keep them relevant and they must NOT forward directly to an affiliate link. However, it is permissible to link to a deep link on your site and have an affiliate link there as long as the sole purpose of the page is not the affiliate link. There must be unique content on whatever page you are forwarding to from a link or article published by you to Quote My Auto Insurance Directory.
- Multiple Submissions: You may submit your site once (1 time) to any category or sub category that properly fits the description of the website.
We reserve the right to refuse anything that is submitted to our site regardless of our guidelines listed above. Please do not get discouraged if your site is not included in our directory as we only accept high quality websites which we deem to be "in-line" with our current goals and subscriber desires. If you are refused due to a small infraction on the guidelines feel free to resubmit your site once the issue is corrected.
